A wholly owned subsidiary of CoreLogic, the largest data and analytics business in the world, CoreLogic RP Data is a leading global provider of property data, analytics and related services to consumers, investors, real estate, mortgage, finance, banking, insurance, developers, wealth management and government.
CoreLogic’s property reports are subject to many business rules controlling variable and optional content. For example, the market in which a property lists may determine the number of property photographs, the type and number of maps, and the type of information contained in the report. Graphical elements and layout structure therefore need to be fluid but at the same time, positioning and styling must adhere to defined branding policies.
Reports must be generated in real time utilizing data from multiple global data silos while requiring minimal input from users. The solution needs excellent scalability, elasticity, and availability. Design and maintenance of templates is required to be a business task and not a technical one.
Corelogic’s reports are primarily generated for banks and other financial institutions that help property buyers assess properties and to help the institutions determine the valuation of properties to be used as security.

Property Information and Analytics

Real-time generation of sophisticated property reports using up to date information with format and content adjusted for the local market, while being suitable for use by both professionals and lay people.
Integration of ActiveDocs document automation with CoreLogic’s global data silos and web application, all hosted in the cloud.
Users just enter minimal data in the CoreLogic web app. All remaining data acquisition, formatting, arrangement of content, adjustment for local markets, document generation, and delivery, is performed automatically.
Evaluation of the project has shown that ActiveDocs has reduced the time-to-market when creating new products, and when applying changes to existing ones. The solution has become a universal ‘vending machine’ for documents, which CoreLogic can use to build any type of report.

With ActiveDocs Designer, CoreLogic’s business users have built report templates incorporating all of the required business rules governing layout and content, and containing precisely positioned graphical components, all in the familiar environment of Microsoft Word.
End users of the solution are typically bank staff who log into the Corelogic’s website and can request and download detailed reports on any property in the register.
End users access CoreLogic’s customer-facing web application, which prompts for the minimum amount of information required to enable the process to work.
The elicited information passes via an ActiveDocs Web Service to the ActiveDocs server where the solution’s Data Source integration, Document Assembly, Workflow, and Delivery features automatically perform all remaining data acquisition, formatting and arrangement of content, adjustment for local markets, document generation, and delivery.
The report is generated in real-time, on-demand, and the user receives it within seconds of the request.
The reports contain variable number of property images, maps showing the location of the property, property details, and details and images of other comparable properties in the same area. The property parameters displayed can vary per property, and labels can vary per region, catering for the specific parameters in each of CoreLogic’s primary markets, USA, UK, Australia and New Zealand.
ActiveDocs Web Services and Automated Document Production allow other apps to use ActiveDocs seamlessly to generate documents, while automatically supplying additional data and applying all business rules for content, format, and delivery.
ActiveDocs Designer allows business users to design build and maintain templates without relying on IT expertise.
ActiveDocs Data Views make it simple to acquire extended data from single or multiple data sources using minimal input, while dynamically filtering to support security and other contextual requirements.
