ActiveDocs Limited, a world leader in the provision of document automation and compliance applications, today announced the release of a case study that describes the implementation of ActiveDocs Opus by TechnologyOne, Australia's largest publicly listed software company, with over 850 employees and offices across the world. TechnologyOne deployed ActiveDocs Opus for the generation of Solution Specification and Solution Configuration documents for their clients. Those documents can run to hundreds of pages and require customer- and solution-specific content combined with static content accurately and consistently, taking several days to assemble manually. With the Opus solution, users answer a few questions in the browser-based Document Wizard; the Business Rules engine automatically selects the content from TechnologyOne’s cloud based Content Management System; and the Document Composition engine builds the final document from the content and customer-specific information. The process now takes less than an hour, ensures the accuracy and completeness of the documents, and enables TechnologyOne to free up its key personnel for more productive and valuable tasks.
Skip Dostine, ActiveDocs VP Business Development, Australia and Asia-Pacific, said: “It has been a pleasure to work with TechnologyOne and to develop this case study focussing on the challenges faced by businesses in the efficient generation of large and complex documents, and the power of the ActiveDocs Opus suite to address and eliminate those challenges – risk, cost, time, and productivity.”
